I want an isolated smps which will convert 240V dc to + -400V dc to drive my inverter. Load current waveform will be high crest factor (rectifier input load) or like fullwave rectifier at 50hz. Do you mean the universal input range? If yes, this should be a pretty normal design and quite a lot of companies have it. Nowadays, the differentiation is at higher efficiency, higher density, etc.
