Description:
Member of the R&D Hardware Product Development team that will be responsible for Analog/Power supply design and verification of a wide variety of products including network edge, metro, datacenter.

Responsibilities:
Design, development, and integration of high power DC supplies, Power Conversion Circuit Design Power Factor Correction and various other power switching circuits.

Design of variable voltage and/or current sources, constant voltage and/or current regulators.

Design elements include power factor correction, converter design, EMI filtering, transient protection, analog design, component selection, simulation/test, PCB layout, and product functional specification.

Ownership throughout the entire lifecycle of the subsystem, from concept to design and development, to build-out and subsystem integration, and on to post-production support.

Design of high reliability and/or long-lifetime hardware.

Evaluating 3rd Party Vendor subsystem components. Additionally be responsible for generating specifications, reviewing designs, procuring components.

Developing documentation including test procedures, component analysis summaries, circuit schematics, and technical engineering notes. Additionally be responsible for generating subsystem requirements and participating in overall subsystem architecture design.

Preforming test and debugging at board, component and subsystem levels.

Skills Experience Requirements:
BSEE/MSEE with 10+ years experience in Analog/Power Supply design

Experience with Cadence products (Concept), Cadence AMS simulator

Self-motivated, able to work under little supervision, able to adapt to changing design requirements, and able to easily transition between projects to meet priority

Excellent communication skills, written and oral, as well as exceptional design organizational skills.
